We specialize in hearty, mountain grown meat goat breeding stock. Our goats are pasture raised in a small herd concept here at Sospiro Goat Ranch in Pisgah Forest, near Brevard in the Blue Ridge mountains.
Our premium Boer meat goats are crossed with Kiko & Nubian stock for a hearty, healthy animal that thrives in our wet mountain environment, with minimum needs for artificial wormer or medications. Our breeding practices and pasture rotation results in a quality meat animal with excellent taste, that will not disappoint.
We primarily sell animals for breeding purposes. We also sell animals for "home slaughter". For restaurants we can make arrangements to have your goat processed in a USDA facility and picked up by your restaurant staff.
